Hello PS9, 

Each spring, PS9 supports the Ronald McDonald House of New York to benefit critically ill children and their families. 

Our 4th grade classes are collecting pantry items for the families living there. See the Pantry List below for specifics on items to donate like canned food, and other household supplies like diapers, wipes and cleaning products. Any snack items MUST be individually wrapped. 

All items can be dropped off in shopping bags next to the desk inside the front entrance, from Monday 5/19 through Friday 5/30. 

Our goal is for each student and staff member to bring in one item to contribute; of course, the more items the better though! We thank everyone in advance for participating; we are excited to support such a worthy cause! 

We are also collecting online donations through the Ronald McDonald House family wishlist - you can shop directly from the Amazon wishlist to ship to the Ronald McDonald House gift registry.

The Ronald McDonald House of New York is a home away from home for families from across the country and around the world whose children are being treated at New York City Cancer Centers. Although families pay a nominal fee to stay at The House, they still bear the cost food and other products while they are here. Some of the children's illnesses require them to remain for months at a time.
